Posted on June 28, 2021
For eight decades, Jeep has produced the most capable and committed vehicles for drivers who want to explore beyond life's traditional boundaries. There is no vehicle that epitomizes the Jeep brand more than the Wrangler.
The 2021 Jeep Wrangler, with its powertrains, technology, and workhorse capabilities, is now more capable than ever before. With 16 model configurations, two- and four-door options, the ability to add removable doors and a roof, there is a Jeep Wrangler to fit every driver's needs.
New Features
It delivers 375 horsepower, 25 miles of electric-only driving, and a 0 to 97 km/h acceleration time of 6.0 seconds. The second new powertrain is in the Rubicon 392 model, and it is a 470-hp V8 engine that accelerates to 9 km/h in just 4.5 seconds.
Performance
Power and performance are built into every 2021 Jeep Wrangler model, making it easy to traverse city streets or rugged trails. On the traditional Wrangler, there are four different powertrain options (the 4xe and Rubicon 392 are considered separate models):
- 3.6-litre Pentastar VVT V6 (285 hp, 260 lb-ft torque, and 907 kg towing)
- 2.0-litre Turbo (270 hp, 295 lb-ft torque, 907 kg towing)
- 3.6-litre VVT V6 with eTorque (285 hp, 260 lb-ft torque, and 907 kg towing)
