The 2022 Ram 1500 features the standard 3.6L PentastarTM V6 engine with eTorque for more entry-level horsepower. With 269 lb‑ft of torque, plus 90 lb‑ft of launch torque from the eTorque Mild Hybrid System, the Pentastar V6 engine offers outstanding towing, performance and efficiency.

The 2022 Ram 1500 offers the exclusive RamBox® Cargo Management System — the only system like it in its class. Using otherwise unused space in the side rails of the cargo bed, the RamBox is weatherproof, drainable, illuminated and lockable — you can even use the key fob to access it. THE FIRST – eTORQUE MILD HYBRID SYSTEM
The eTorque Mild Hybrid System replaces the traditional charging system with a 48-volt battery and electric motor that increases the engine’s launch torque. Benefits include quick and seamless operation of the engine start/stop function as well as a significant, short-duration boost in acceleration and load-pulling performance. What’s more, eTorque uses brake-regeneration to help recharge the battery.
